Beautiful theatre in a splendid location. Saw the Nutcracker here over Christmas and it was a brilliant arrangement with both local dancers and actors as well as invited ballet artists. Acoustics were great and stage modern. Couldn't beat the setting leaving the theatre at sunset.

The theatre of the lake is a piece of work where you can find a wide variety of lovely things... not only the shows that you can see but the sightseeing... the stores, the people and the environment around... full of old stylish houses mixed with the new ones... it's a must if you are visiting the south of Chile.... Beautiful infrastructure by the lake. The service during off season is lacking if you come from further away and do not make it in time for the guided tour at noon, there is only one tour per day. The older lady at the front counter is not very warm to answer questions and is a bit rude. The Italian restaurant next door is simply amazing and the customer service there is great. Overall a good experience.
Everything about this theater is made for acoustics and is pleasing to the eye. There are many halls that can be rented for weddings or other occasions all having the same unique acoustic qualities. This is a unesco musical city and has live and recorded events year round. You may be on the other side of the world here in Southern Chile, but you can stay connected educated and inspired here with famous musical acts, plays, operas, and other events. It is definitely worth a visit. There is a lovely chocolate shop featuring local flavors that are unique to Southern Chile, such as maqui and murta. There is a gift shop with unique musical inspired gifts and interesting coffee table books to buy. The theater sits on crystal clear lake water and the views are spectacular even at night with the beautiful lighting fixtures.
AMAZING place, do NOT miss it! Tix for this world class place very reasonable.
The place is Nice to walk and come to take a coffee or something to eat but if you want to do some cultural thing in the theater have to plan it in advance otherwise is just to see the building from outside. The lake is delicious on summer, nice beach and a lot of people.
Man what can I say that hasn't been said before, and absolutelly beautiful, majestic, peaceful and clean place.
Weren’t able to catch a show here but just looking around at the amazing architecture of this stunning building which stands out in this little town. It’s a true centerpiece and is a masterpiece of art with very carefully designed details both inside and out.
