....even though its said that Uber is a No, No, in Santiago de Chile its not true as we found out it to be one of the most efficient and quickest ways of getting from A to Z in and around the city even to the airport. And more so its still the cheapest way cos metered taxi's are very expensive. We also used the Uber App to order Uber Eats one night and we were amazed with the great service rendered our 3 of a kind burgers with chips & onion-ring was delivered to our flat piping hot & delicious!.....

Worst activation centre ever, no matter which moment of the day you arrive. This building lacks safe locks to securely store your bike (yeah, we are partners, right?). You have asked my ID three times but I must waste, for saying the least, about two or even three hours because of your greedy lack of human resources. But you got three fixed-position guards which their only function is to ignore your partners' needs.
I reserved an Uber for 50 min later for a price between 2800 - 3500 chilean pesos. After reaching my destination, I had to pay 4650 chilean pesos. There was a so call surcharge which I did not noticed because I was travelling to the pick-up point. 25% charging costs because of the high demand of uber taxi's. Pfff If I have seen that price before I confirmed my ride I definitely not book that Ride. Uber doesnt want to give me that extra amount back. Last time I drove with someone who charged me 2800. So this 4650 is too redicilous.
It's an awful place . People who work there are disgusting. Very bad !! Es horrible ! Mala atención

Santiago and Pucon are where we used Uber. Santiago to the airport was a terrible experience. We couldn’t figure out why the nervous non communicative driver said “police” and changed route, taking us to cargo, the had to ask a construction worker how to get to the airport for passengers.im hoping the 40 charge is in fact reduced as the Uber message said in the app after the crazy drive. In Pucon at the bus terminal, the message we got was the driver doesn’t pick up st the terminal. So it seems Uber isn’t welcome in Chile yet. Also the cars were not really what I would consider X.
Easy to access and fast service attention
Wanted to film a sequence for our video reportage with some Uber drivers or employees, but we were denied any access and they told us we should write the press mail of Uber, which is the one of Uber in the USA.
