beautiful place to take pictures of the culture. floor is always wet and the hot water they use creates a steam in this cold weather that is very good for natural ambient drama. a lot of products like cheese, herbs, fish, fruits, honey and more.

Love fish markets, this one was smaller than expected,but had wonderful cebiches and many restaurants. We saw the biggest black mussels ever. Lots of sea urchins and smoked salmon. I little tight to move around. We walked from the Ibis hotel, but wished had taken a taxi since it was further than described by the locals. Do not missed it

Nice touristic market Many things to buy for souvenirs. Also lots of food stalls but the cleanliness looks very bad. Many dogs are around... It’s nice to visit and watch but I won’t eat here.

A must-visit if you are in the area! Wonderful fresh seafood (some is frozen!!) market that also has lots of cheese, sausages, jams, etc. Next door is a handicraft market with many lovely wool and wood items, tons of hand-spun wool yarns to make any knitter go wild. Many micro-sized restaurants to choose from. We loved Don Juanito's (local 2, 1st floor) where I had the best caldillo de congrio ever.

As a visitor, this is just a marvelous place to wander around and see the variety of fresh seafood. We also took a short cruise from just behind the market.
