Este es un monumento al Pueblo Indígena, obra de Enrique Villalobos, quien ganó el concurso convocado por la Municipalidad de Santiago en 1991 para conmemorar los 500 años del Descubrimiento de América. El monumento representa tres elementos : una semilla, un rostro y vegetacion. Ubicada en la plaza de Armas, fue inaugurada en octubre de 1992 tiene 8 metros de alto, en hormigón y granito.
