Beautiful architecture in the centre of Santiago. The bustle of the city meets this modernist cultural centre, with some of the best street art on its walls. Comes complete with a lovely canteen and there is also a wine shop in the basement. All your needs are catered for, cultural or otherwise.

This is a lovely multi-facetted arts centre. It has a creative areas where the public can come to meet and practise dance moves with others. It has several exhibition spaces for art works and also stages shows. I went to see "Playa Negra" an amazing contemporary dance production exploring the limits of human morality and feelings, quite a bit of nudity, but all very tastefully enacted.

This is a great location to see amazing art installations and also just the general Chilean public having a good time. During normal times you can see teenagers practicing dance routines (a lot of K-pop) and just an overall good place to spend a lazy afternoon enjoying the Santiago life. However, with the current protests and political situation, the timings and functioning of the centre is drastically different, instead the whole place is covered in very interesting and profound graffiti, with the exterior walls being doubling up as a 'noticeboard'. - Makes the experience very different.

The centre Gabriela Mistral it know as GAM is a great place to bring the family for lots of free expos and exhibitions. If you do the free walking tour of the city they bring you here and explain all the history. There are also free toilets located here which was very handy.

A quirky art museum in downtown Santiago, very close to the universities. There are frequently art exhibits downstairs and on the ground floor, as well as a library on the third floor. The library is all about art, music, and other media, which is neat for people who are studying this.
