Was a great place to take the Children, until some Genius decided to remove all the amenities that were there for the Children (jumping Castles and other entertainment for Children), the place used to be Buzzing with activity till late hours. However now its a dead beat of a place, as it seems people in this Tiny Town dont have a freaking Clue about what Tourism is all about. Chinchorro Corp Im referring to you and your lousy ways..

Chinchorro is one of those beaches where you can spend the whole day having fun and leisure... If I might recommend, start the day before noon (the city usually dawns cloudy so the sun won't burn you so early). The water is one of the warmest in the country and the you can choose the size of the waves as you walk north. You will find places for lunch, ice creams or coffee very close to the shore. I suggest DiMango for a meal after the sea. Ask for the turtles preservation area and pkease be kind and respectful with them.

Good beach. Busier at high season, but empty in low season even when the weather is still really hot, so good for out of town tourists. Only minor down side is that in low season all the beach services and cafés are closed. Seems pretty clean overall. Get bus or taxi from city centre if the 25 min walk is not for you.
