I've participated in several religious events here at the shrine pastoral center and it's a really nice place, probably one of the biggest green spaces on the this side of La Florida. I've stayed in 3 of the 4 retreat houses and they're very nice. 3 of the 4 have underwent extreme makeovers in 2018-2019 and have drastically improved. I also love that they replaced the wall on Vicente Valdés with a see-through fence; much nicer to be able to see the park from outside. FYI, Bellavista is home 3 separate, independent (although associated) religious communities, all of them belong to the Schoenstatt spirituality. The pastoral center and retreat house is administrated by the Schoenstatt Fathers while the Shrine and book store are taken care of by the Sisters of Mary.
