La Junta My partner and I spent four days camping at La Junta Campsite and walking in the Cochamó Valley in early Dec (2019). Not only is the valley amazingly beautiful, with many exciting and rewarding walks up into the surrounding mountains (and with serious opportunities for climbers), but the campsite itself is superb. It is designed to be fully sustainable without negative environmental impacts, using very well thought out systems for recycling and composting. It is also, above all, a serene and inspiring place to camp - a secluded, natural paradise. The owners, Daniel and Sylvina, should be congratulated on their vision. The on site staff were also really great - welcoming, helpful, involved and active. Juan and Ailen, thank you.

It was THE most special, most surprising place I found on my way through south Chile. Amazing nature. Bring enough food with u!!
Just awesome...
Amazing views, great climbing. The experience getting here, staying here and taking in the majestic panorama is something you can put in the incredible list of things todo.
Beautiful location, couldn't get into this site without a reservation but Trawen right next to it has a lot of space and a great atmosphere. Plan for ar least 2 nights here.
Awesome eco camping site
This is heaven. Better maybe.
Great camping, although it can get crowded on busy seasons
