This is a fantastic spot to shop for souveneirs and little gifts to take back home. Easily accessible by the metro and convenient enough to incorporate it into a day of 'exploring STGO'. There is room for negotiation with pricing and generally most shopkeepers are eager to chat and help out the tourists. I would also reccomend trying out empanadas while here as it makes for a great pre-meal snack!

Market is actually very nice when you walk inside. Looks a little shady from the outside thanks to the roll up doors, but we were pleasantly surprised! Found the exact same alpaca sweaters being sold in San Pedro de Atacama- at half the price here! Also interesting handmade jewelry, especially outside on the street.

Markets opposite San Lucia Hill. A great place to pick up Chilean handicraft gifts . A large range of jewellery, ceramics, textiles. No parking available, but close to the subway. Don't let the street appearance put you off.
