It is a small family vine, formed after a long winemaking career by the oenologist Irene Paiva. Her interest for the agriculture and, especially for the oenology, were not a coincidence, it brought her childhood memories in the vineyards and grandfather’s wine cellar near Talca. All these have deeply marked her thoughts and dreams of her wines. Iwines Vine was born in 2007, with author wines, made in human scale and with numbered bottles, under the brand ‘I Latina’. Later on, the ‘Qu’ wine line is added. The whole fermentation process is done in a small wine cellar near the oenologist-author house, who is personally in charge of the process until it gets into the bottle. As the result of this dedicated work, all of the wines have gotten international recognition through the years, and her passion for innovation and high quality wine production has been shown.
