Good views of the sea. Probably wouldn't be as nice if it was raining, but in the sun it's a nice place to spend a few minutes if you're in town.

Nice views and properly maintained remains of the fort
It is a good place to visit, conservation of this historic place it's regular and there is lack of information. Would be very beneficial if the authority implement a better historical guidance and create a more realistic environment. Anyway, if you are lucky, will find a guide impersonating a Spanish Soldier and he will be able to provide a very detailed information about the fort and history for a tip ;)
Excellent spot to watch the sunset.
Isn’t the best thing but have a great view . Don’t have a public service and you can walk around 15 minutes .
Cool. Very funny and very good place to visit in Chiloé.
The fort is one of the main reasons to visit the city of Ancud. It is beautiful to visit in the summer. There are local guides some of which speak English who can provide detailed accounts of the rich history regarding the history and battles which took place centuris before. There is a pleasant beach located below the fort.
