I love this place- not the information center, but the Valle. If you come before 12pm, it's 1000 Chilean cheaper. They give you a map and you can explore the place on your own. We rented our own car and it was very convenient.

Very helpful staff, explained all details of the valley.
Valle de la Luna is probably the most visited attraction in this area due to its easy access. In the afternoon before sunset time it can be really packed with groups of visitors so even in the cave there could be a queue which is a bit annoying. Now there's stricter control over closing time so be sure to time your visit well otherwise when closer to sunset it's not possible to visit all the spots for security reason. Important to pick a nice place to wait for the sunset; be patient and the best view will be unveiled...
They will not let you in after 1 p.m. There is 10 people to inform you about that and none of them speaks English. Half of the attractions is closed, you will learn that after paying by getting crosses on your map. You need a car to drive inside. No info online on anything. Still decent views and salt mine, but ffs fix the way you treat tourists.
This place is loved to death. The sheer amount of tourists pouring into this place every day apparently made it necessary to so strictly limit access to the best viewpoints at the time of day with the best light that it kills all the fun. If you can only do Valle de Muerte or Valle de la Luna, definitely go for the former.
It is just the ticket office for the moon valley. Be aware: it is only open for private visitors until 13.
This is a place out of this world. One of the most beautiful landscapes and sunsets near to San Pedro de Atacama. You can reach this place riding a bike or even walking, a great trek.
The service is good but it will be better if they will put real food in cafe. Otherwise you can buy very expensive chemicals)))
