This is a small airport with three departure gates. The security gates process is short and fast. The toilets were good and clean but there's not much other facilities here. Don't expect to get a coffee or convenience shop of any sort. There's a few vending machines for snacks and drinks. The town centre is no more than 20 minutes away, 30 if the traffic is bad.

Its a very small airport, no jet bridges. However you can walk off your plane and be outside in 2 minutes. No fuss and a wonderfully smooth arrival. A world away from the busy big airports. Departures looked very simple too with the obvious covid and other documentary checks. Please note: nobody was attending the airport shuttle service desk. There was only 1 person at a rental car agency. I got an uber and it worked out fine and cost me half the price of the advertised price of the shared airport transfer service.

Very small airport with one restaurant and one gift shop. Going through security was a breeze. Empanadas could have been better. \u200d️

Little airport at La Serena, anyway, it has everything you need, ATM, coffee, gift shop and a small VIP lounge. There's also a couple of rental car companies within the airport.
