Liked this space. Simple but elegant. The way they preserved the house and converted it to use as a museum is good. There is an exhibition of wardrobe of actress Sharon Tate.

Great for fashion fans like myself but the price is extremely steep for the 3-4 exhibits. There's also plenty of room for improvement and variety in the exhibitions they do have. I'd also love to see more exhibits on Latin American influence in fashion.
The name of the museum is misleading. This is a preserved home of chillean emigrants. This is not a place to see conserved and historical garments, shoes, hats or handbags. The *museum* offers 3 small exhibits a year - 2 rooms maybe. When we were there it was Curt Cobain's sneakers and tees - even after living in Seattle this one felt flat. We were advised that if you had a legimate interest in fashion and/or conservation a pre-arranged guided tour could maybe be arranged in advance.
The house is very nice . The fashion is lacking. being told it's a museum I would expect to be at the museum a minimum of 1 hour. There are only 3 rooms which 2 of them are small with fashion items and 1 big one. I was surprised to see majority of the rooms to be about the set of rooms from the family who lived here. The receptionist is very cold and unwelcoming. She just goes thru the motions and gives no sort of direction. The only two nice things were the security personnel at the museums are very friendly and helpful. The cafe is relaxing and has a nice music selection.

Excelente museo, muy lindo y bien presentado todo. La casa en si es hermosa, especialmente el patio. Tienen también una cafetería que luce muy bien, pero nunca la probé así que no se si recomendarla. Vale mucho la pena visitarlo cuando hay una muestra interesante.
Hermoso museo, ex casa de la familia Yarur, muy bien mantenido. Posee un precioso jardín y el laboratorio de conservación y restauración textil más importante de Chile. Las exposiciones no duran mucho para evitar el deterioro de los textiles (a lo sumo éstos resisten 3 meses en exhibición). Muy limpio, bien señalizado y personal amigable. Tuve la suerte de asistir con mi curso de postítulo y fue una visita muy grata, agradezco la oportunidad.
