Very interesting museum regarding the military coup. You see paintings of admires of Salvador Allende like Miro and get to know the history of the paintings send to Chile.

Well done if you are a student of revisionist history as many Chileans seem to be. Everything about Allende in Chile today is deified, including the statue of him in the Plaza Moneda. Yes, it was a dark time in Chile's history but no one is willing to step up and talk or display the things that led up to the coup. I am not talking about the CIA here, I am talking about the crumbling infrastructure and class warfare that evolved as a result of Allende's presidency. Too bad both sides aren't told but that is what is taught in a socialist society to the impressionable young.

Una forma hermosa de ver los gestos de solidaridad que tuvo el resto del mundo, cuando fue quebrada nuestra democracia. Artistas de todo el mundo estamparon sus denuncias en sus obras, y este lugar muestra ese gesto de solidaridad, crear para que otros sepan, crear para financiar la busqueda y la denuncia en el mismo Chile. En particular tuve la suerte de ver 4 muestras, entre ellas Tejido Social Arte Textil, que en si es una muestra increíble y ademas tiene todo el contexto de ayuda. Imperdible!!! No hay excusa, 1000 entrada general, estudiantes gratis....
