Excellent place to come with friends and family!!! We went in July that is winter in south hemisphere, If this is your first time in snow you’ll love very much, the cableway travel is so exciting, there are a pretty wide options of restaurants to eat an empanada with a hot chocolate viewing the nice landscape covered by huge mountains with a lot of snow!!! There are many activities to do, very recommend place! But it’s busy in weekend so try to getting there early.

The Farellones park (ticket for 25 thousand pesos by SousaTur) has numerous attractions, but I attended in mid-August and snow did not cover the whole complex, there were slopes due to lack of snow, the temperature unlike Valle Nevado, was milder , reached 5 degrees in the early afternoon, but we took great advantage of the available options, the chairlift is very show, is quite extensive and halfway through the absolute silence generates an impressive peace, the clothes, dressed 1 a blouse, a Turtleneck sweater, a warm, waterproof jacket with Wool inside, warm trousers and jeans, plus scarf, gloves and hat, rented another waterproof pants and boot for 8000 pesos, the complete discount set is around from 25 to 30 thousand pesos, the food is expensive, we take sandwiches and do not use the options of the complex.

The Andes just outside Santiago are providing some great ski facilities in the winter and wonderful view in the summer. The drive up from Santiago alone is worth making the trip for - hair-raising at times but always spectacular.

The perfect place to get away for a different experience with beautiful views of the mountains. One word of advice, it is a serious drive uphill to get to your favourite lookout but worth the effort when you finally arrive at your destination. The views are beautiful on a clear day and the restaurants serve quick and easy meals to enable you to sit back eat and drink and absorb the beauty of Chile

Very bad customer service, we called 2 weeks in advance to validate some promotions and make sure they were valid during the high season, and at the gate they completely contradicted what the Callcenter confirmed. Even do we explained the whole situation, they did not provide any kind of solution but charging the full admission price. If you are planning to go, I'd recommend to be very constant in checking their webpage and also never trust the Callcenter. Besides customer service, is recommended to watch the weather forecast and know when it last snowed. This place runs out of ice very quickly.

Beautiful, but it can be better if you can afford a lot of money.
