We are travelling with the "Expedition 4WD Rooftop" for two months now and everything works great so far. The car is nice to drive even during hours of gravel road and has a lot of space. After these two months we had a planned intermediate check of the car. It was executed by Rodrigo and he was very friendly, helpful and fast. He even fixed a smal hole next to a zip of the roof tent and gave us valuable advices for our trip through South America. During the checkup we got another car so that we could drive to the city for a few hours. Very good service, we highly recommend!

We hired the Iconic Campervan for three weeks. We started in Punta Arenas and ended our trip in Puerto Varas. The car itself was as expected. The roadassistence service was really good! When our backlight was broken (by external factors) they immediately reacted on whatsapp and fixed it. Rodrigo helped us, he was very kind and very helpful! Thanks a lot Rodrigo!

5 week journey from Punta Arenas to Puerto Montt. My wife and I (both in our late 50’s) rented the 3-person wicked camper (Hot Van) during February and March 2019. The van provided basic and comfortable sleeping accommodations. We spent about 1/2 the time at established campgrounds and the other 1/2 at hotels or AirBnBs. The van did not handle very well on the corrugated/washboard gravel roads as the back tires would bounce to the left. As gravel roads made up at least 50% of our 5000 km journey it was stressful at times. We had no breakdowns or anything though. The cooking implements were basic but functional. Hard to find ice in southern Chile (except for glaciers!) so keeping things cold in the cooler was difficult. The trip was amazing though and we got to places we would not have seen. To do the same thing in a rental car would have been more expensive and we would have been struggling to set up a tent in the Patagonian wind.

Do not do business with this company. Very shady business practices, they are very dishonest. You are overpaying for what you get. That is why I am rating them poorly. On another note, driving a van through Chile is not cost effective. You will spend hundreds of dollars on highways tolls, gas is about 1.30 usd a litre, and if you pickup the vehicle in Santiago, you have to drive at least 10 hours to get to any city worth seeing. Pucon if you are going south or San Pedro de Atacama if you are heading north. You will spend much less money taking busses, and staying in hotels/airbnbs/hostels.
