As a kid, I always wondered, having read C. S. Lewis' Narnia books, what would "Turkish Delights" look like. You may find them here, without the evil influence of the White Witch :) It's a great place to have turkish or arabic cup of coffee along with am assortment of sweets. Definitely worth it.

Everything is not so sweet at this confectionery/bakery shop. I’m an American visiting Chile and I was looking for something sweet to bring home to the states that my family would enjoy. I stopped by this confectionery shop because I was attracted to the candy in the window display. I was helped by this rude and nasty woman (owner) whom asked me where I was visiting from because I was so dumb. She was upset because I asked her what the candy tasted like. At that point she mentioned to the other man who was also at the counter that she couldn’t believe that someone dumb such as I was visiting from the US. Little did she know, I’m fluent in Spanish. Btw, the tiny chocolate candy that are probably about an inch square each were over a one American dollar! This super expensive chocolate which had peanut-butter, wasn’t better than an American Reese’s Pieces. I would definitely not suggest you buy it. I’m sure this lady prices differently for Americans. Que mal aspecto se mira el país Chile con lugares como estos!

This local cafe it is located in one of the most traditional areas in Santiago. It offers a variety of turquish and greek sweets as well as traditional Chilean sweet cakes and desserts. They speccialize in the coffee and sweet menu, which makes it perfect for sitting down and having a relax or deep chat with those who love to gather around a nice cup of coffee
