Absolutely stunning theatre that rivals some of the grand theatres of traditional Europe. While the facility is not fancy, it gets the job done perfectly. Things are old and the age shows on the hallways and walls but it presents a sense of nostalgia as if you're transported a couple hundred years ago. We picked the cheapest tickets in the Galleria which presented pretty poor views of the stage but for the price of US2 per person, it was great to experience the architecture and history at such a low price.

Beautiful theatre with classic performers
Superb traditional theatre and stunning professional ballet dances. Tickets of all prices from expensive tickets in the best seats to cheap tickets (3,000 CLP) up the back on the top tier. Very entertaining and enjoyable. I highly recommend.
Clean, organized, personal are polite and happy to help you. I went for the Stravinsky festival and from where i was sitting, the view wasn't the best (seat H18), but luckily for the second overture, i had the chance to change to a better seat, from where you can actually appreciate better the whole stage and the performance. The orchestra sounds amazing! Even when i was seated all the way to the back in a corner! I highly recommend to go and enjoy!
Absolutely amazing, architecturally and the shows are supreme. Everytime I visit this place I find a new detail and fell in love with this monumental theater for arts. Definitely a must visit place if you are visiting Santiago...
