We had an amazing three nights stay at this beautiful hotel. Staff were nice and friendly, room was clean and dinner/breakfast was tasty. Although we booked it thinking it was closer to Torres Del Paine National Park, we weren't disappointed with the location any less. Overall, We had a beautiful stay here.

Friendly staffs (and dog) with good food and breakfast! We had whole house to ourselves with kitchenette but no fridge. Heater works but automatically shuts off in the morning, and bathrooms look newly renovated. The town has no gas station, so nearest gas station would be either crossing border or go south to Puerto Natales.
There was no heat during sub freezing weather. The room basically served the purpose of being an expensive blocker of the wind and providing a bed. The room was super weird with a light that doesn't even have a socket to plug in! Breakfast was decent, though.
The setting is quaint and the staff is lovely. It’s a good spot to stop on your way to Torres Del Paine, or to stay for a few days. The rooms are clean, spacious, and have a classic ranch vibe. I stayed 2 nights and met some great people. The staff also took me out star gazing because they are just that great!
The most pleasant l secluded resort and probably one of the best place to stay when you are in Torres Del Paine. It's an hour away from Laguna Amarga but makes a rest day worth every penny
There were few frills with our stay at Pionero but the location was very convenient to the Argentinian Border (the border crossing is literally right in Cerro Castillo), Puerto Natales (45 mins) and Torres del Paine (1h), the service was friendly and the accommodations clean. Sure, the on-site dining options are limited and a bit pricey for Chile, but one can certainly plan accordingly as the second building, in which we were staying, provided a kitchen and necessary equipment to prepare meals if you so desire. Overall we felt we got what we were paying for and the setting even lent itself to meeting fellow guests and spending an evening dining with them. If you want simple, pleasant, accommodations, Pionero is a good choice.
Clean and comfortable. Dinner was good and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wifi only works intermittently.
Cute setting, very attentive staff, large rooms. No televisions, but that adds to the ambiance, bring a book and a friend, maybe some cards or a small game.
