Great potential here. Awesome cozy place, delicious food. Service was between ok and good. But the layout and ordering system is not easy to follow. Coffee bar on the slow side and it took us 4 times ordering a coffee to finally get it on the table.

I frequently visit Good Nick. The owners are always there making sure every customer is having a great experience. The coffee is the best in the city, and the warm atmosphere makes it the perfect place to either have a drink with friends or work on your computer solo in the am. It's simply unbeatable. Disfruta!

This place is awesome! Excellent food, friendly service, turns out one of the owners is an Aussie from Melbourne where we come from, he started the cafe/bar with his Chilean partner, they do a great Melbourne style breakfast, I had the smashed avocado which was yum, washed down with more than one delicious coffee, my wife had one of their tasty toasties. Great for vegetarians (both of us). I was told they will soon open in the evenings serving Beer, wine and food, a return trip is definitely on the cards. Would highly recommend!

You definitely pay for quality NOT quantity at Good Nick. It’s a very charming restaurant, nicely decorated, and the service and food quality are quite good. But the portions are small for the price. The spicy egg dish is literally one piece of toast with 2 scrambled eggs topped with merken, for 5.000 pesos. The avocado dish is a bit better, but still only one piece of toast topped by a lot of avocado and one poached egg, also for 5.000 pesos. The coffee is excellent and they offer every different type of milk/milk substitute possible, which is great for vegans and lactose intolerant people. The whole menu is vegetarian and there is a vegan option too. The ordering & payment system is a bit strange in that you have to order, pay AND tip up front at the counter instead of from your table. Seems strange to tip before you know how the food/service is. Also, if you want anything after you’ve sat down, you have to get up and go order it at the bar. This system must be quite efficient for the owner (as he doesn’t have to pay for servers) but it’s not very convenient for the client. They claim to be a “bar” but it has the ambiance of a sit-down breakfast/brunch restaurant. Plus they don’t serve alcohol, they’re not open at night, and you don’t receive your order right away. You go sit down and wait for it. So by definition this is not a bar. For these reasons I give Good Nick 4 stars instead of 5.

Great coffee for some Aussies in need. Great familiar decor as well. If you need a familiar brunch feed and good coffee this is your place. They also seem happy to help with your Spanish!

Great service, excellent food! The whole concept of this place is on a new level for Viña standards. Although they have a “brunch” menu, I wouldn’t necessarily call it a brunch place, as it doesn’t have a combo pack with different menu items. You need to order each thing separately.

So happy to find this place while travelling through - helped with my food cravings from home (Melbourne)! I believe one of the owners is a Melbourne boy? So great to see the signature dishes from home being presented with a local flavour... also, more importantly, GOOD COFFEE!

Hip atmosphere, delicious coffee, and thought has been put into offering food that is a little different from the usual fare.
