One of the best rated markets in the world. Incredible colours. Great foods, fresh produce. Little bit of a tough neighbourhood at times. Great people. Practice your Spanish! Was busy when we were there. Not sure 2020.

It is a must to do!! Be prepared, its a other face of Santiago!!! Poorer and dirtier, but its full of life and color, there price for the food are really accessible!!! And going there for a late lunch so incredible!!! The place is less busy, and you can easily walk along the alleys!! There is not much tourists going there so no one speak any English except Spanish!!! I recommended to go there and to have lunch !!! Of course be careful with you bags and phones but the place is safe!!! Great experience!!!
